I think the US gov is arrogant to even imply that intergalactic civilization is remotely worried or interested in our weapons when they probably have stuff way more technologically advanced. Also the reason why they are down here more because humans DONT know how to leave them alone. They going up there in space touching stuff and trying to build houses on mars etc and wonder why they down here trying to see whats going on. Leave them space people alone so they can leave us alone.

The most probable form of intelligence, coming from outside Earth, is probably some form of AI and/or Robots. Mainly due to the vast distances living beings would have to travel just to reach us. It makes more sense if there is indeed intelligent alien life, that they would send probes for years before landing on another planet. Very similar to how we have been probing Mars since the 1970s.

On the first one, it’s a balloon guys… I’ve seen balloons with that shape. It’s just a balloon most likely. Occam’s razor. I understand the extreme desire for it to be aliens. I would love that myself! But let’s make sure it isn’t terrestrial first. I’ve seen party balloons very similar to this.
