In the beginning when humans were hunter gatherers they needed a way to be able to stay in the same place and be able to get food from the same place if an advanced civilization had to start. So at that point cows showed up. And they were docile and sweet and they ate grass and gave us milk which we could consume and make cheese with. First obstacle to becoming an advanced civilization cleared. And cows helped us with it. And then when humanity could cultivate then the cows helped pull the ploughs and when we needed fertilizer for the brand new crops wham! cow dung was available. So yeah civilization was built with the help of cows and we the Indian civilization, the oldest standing civilization took cognizance of that and elevated that animal into the highest annals of recognition. Even today our children drink their milk. You drink your mother’s milk. But you don’t eat your mother do you? So Krishna taking cognizance of the fact that this animal has been nothing but a boon to humanity should be recognized as such. So anyone today who does NOT NEED to eat meat to live, can choose to live harmlessly without eating animals. So thus in the hindu way of living cows are not eaten, they are revered.

praveen really is something else i have followed him for a while i love how in depth he gets when he goes to these ancient structure really tries to inform us about things we dont normally question but are inscribed in stone givin us a glimpse into how advance the past actually was
