I’m not sure we’ll get an honest unbiased investigation into this incident
Thanks Denys!!
camera powercells were a frequent trouble at airports, especially if travelling with pro equipment. worked at an equipment rental a while ago and besides much paperwork already this had to be dealed with. when regulations changed we had to send them to places in advance, like for that one dude filming a documentary in kenya, now find someone in kenya to manage that for you. funny enough, powercells went there by air mail.
i know what hit the boeing, it was a piece of debris from a russian tank turret, slowly falling back to earth…
Thank god that the two in-flight incidents mentioned at the beginning of the video only resulted in minor injuries at worst. Both a fire on board and a rapid decompression could have way worse outcomes, including hull loss events.
Two things with Lithium batteries: Mostly its a failed or even non existent BMS (battery management system) which causes issues. It’s a manufacturer/ regulator issue, not the chemistry of the battery. On a plane NEVER have your device charged to 100%, best is at or below 80%. Also in general: Never leave a fully charged Lithium battery connected to the charger.
A “panic attack” is a brain crash that can happen to almost anyone, when the brain can’t cope with stress. We don’t know anything about the person’s history. . It is like PTSD for soldiers and loud noises. It is not to be laughed at
