if it was a samuge if i can type, it would not change places on the lens, for instance the targeting would not be able to go in front of it unless their are mutli lens? The main problem with a person with a jet pack if you look you see that it does not move their no movement of the arms or any part of the object. It almost look likes a prop of some kind. At the very least it don’t seem to be a animal? Also if you notice that it moves different from the camera so another reason it would be a smudge. Also the object seems to pay no mind to anything that is going on around it.
